1) What’s your name and where do you come from?
Keith (KeithMcFrenzy) and I’ve lived in Devizes most of my life, apart from a year or so in Poulshot when I was a mini human.
2) Tell us a little about how you came to play Blood Bowl and your experience in with the game and wider hobby.
I’ve been involved with the hobby since around the end of the Rogue Trader era, and of course played HeroQuest/Space Crusade, but the heyday for me was 4th ed Fantasy Battle and 2nd ed 40k. Apart from a couple of games of older editions, I didn’t really get into Blood Bowl until Blood Bowl 1 and 2 on pc, which led to joining the Forge Breakers league.
3) What Blood Bowl achievement are you most proud of?
Almost getting to division 1 with Ogres, but I got beaten in the play-offs by Macporridge and his Salzenmund Songbirds.
4) What’s your favourite team and why?
Slann, Aztec space frogs is all I need to say [ed: sounds fair to me!].
5) Tell us about the team you’ve brought into Season III. Did you select it for purely competitive reasons, or were there other factors involved?
I basically took it so I could use old models and get a bit of a Realm of Chaos warband vibe.
6) What was your thought process behind your roster selections, skills taken and how would you describe your playstyle with this team?
The above answer covers this really, and my playstyle for this team is the same as every team, I make it up as I go along.
7) What are your expectations for this season? Do you have any particular goals you’d like to achieve?Who are you backing to win each division this season?
I don’t really have any expectations, but my goals are not to be relegated and maybe one day get to division 1.
8) What’s one thing you’d change about Blood Bowl?
I’m not a fan of star players in general, but they’re such an iconic part of BloodBowl that I wouldn’t want them gone. I just think a few changes would be good (increased cost for bombers, for example).
9) What Pitch is your favourite (rules, artwork, whatever)?
I don’t know really. I’ll just be boring and say the standard one.
10) Outside of Blood Bowl tell us a little about your life and main passions?
I’ve got back into 4th ed Fantasy Battle and I have a Skaven army that has many bloody battles against my brothers’ Greenskins, I’d like to play 2nd ed 40k again and am hopeful that a Necromunda campaign will be starting in the near future.
11) Pirates or Ninjas?
Pirates, rum and treasure are enough of a reason for that choice.
12) What’s your favourite film?
Difficult choice but I’d probably say Alien or maybe 7 Samurai.
