1) What’s your name and where do you come from?

James Talbott-hill, from Swindon 🤙🏻

2) Tell us a little about how you came to play Blood Bowl and your experience in with the game and wider hobby.

I started playing Blood Bowl when I was around 6-7 when I first started getting into Warhammer, so I’ve always been a big fan of the game and have seen it go through many changes.

3) What Blood Bowl achievement are you most proud of?

Winning Division 2 last season, this was my first official league ever, so I was very proud to come top of my division before retiring my first team.

4) What’s your favourite team and why?

Chaos Dwarfs, they were the first team I ever purchased myself, and I always have a fun time with them even if I don’t always win.

5) Tell us about the team you’ve brought into Season III. Did you select it for purely competitive reasons, or were there other factors involved?

Originally, I was gonna play Gnomes, but as Chaos Dwarfs got a refresh, I decided to give them another go, with new positionals and new skills, they’ve definitely made the team a whole lot more versatile.

6) What was your thought process behind your roster selections, skills taken and how would you describe your playstyle with this team?

A lot of fun, this season was more about having fun with a fresh team, so I made some less optimal decisions like claws on my bull centau,r but it’s turned out to be a solid choice and has served me well this season

7) What are your expectations for this season? Do you have any particular goals you’d like to achieve?Who are you backing to win each division this season?

Mostly just get this team upgraded, ready to try and be in with a chance of winning division 1 next season, I think Jem has a good chance at winning division 2 with the silly dwarf antics and Garland Sunborn I think could end it on top in division 3 with some good luck.

8) What’s one thing you’d change about Blood Bowl?

I think mutations should always be random given the nature of a mutation, but I think that’s more a silly thought, otherwise, I enjoy the game very much. Kick off table could do with a refresh though.

9) What Pitch is your favourite (rules, artwork, whatever)?

The first edition Blood Bowl pitch has a special place in my heart, as that’s what I played on for years

10) Outside of Blood Bowl tell us a little about your life and main passions?

I love tabletop hobbies, board games, card games, just generally getting around a table with friends and playing games is a big passion of mine; the social environment is very important to me

11) Pirates or Ninjas?

Pirates for aura

12) What’s your favourite film?

Labyrinth
