The FB Cup thunders back onto the pitch, louder and rowdier than a troll with a megaphone! Our infamous knockout brawl‑fest returns to inject glorious chaos into your fixtures with round‑specific custom rules — and yes, that means the return of snotling balls, streakers, and other pitch‑invading nonsense the fans absolutely should not be encouraging. This season, those special rules won’t just add flavour… they’ll hit harder than a Black Orc on a blitz.

But that’s not all — this year, the Cup gets a shiny new upgrade. The whole competition will now run through Tourplay! Coaches will still field their league teams exactly as they stand at the moment each Cup match kicks off, but now every scrap of glory you earn counts: winnings, SPPs, the lot. Your players will serve their MNGs via Cup matches, and any lasting injuries from Cup matches won’t stick to your roster. Think of it as sanctioned mayhem without the paperwork.

The Forgebreakers Team are pleased to announce this season’s FB Cup!

What’s the FB Cup you ask?

The FB Cup is a knockout competition open to all league members (and non-league members if we have any newbies who want to jump in) based on a certain football competition.

Teams will be drawn against each other in the first round, with higher-ranked teams receiving a bye to the second round if they don’t fit neatly into the 32/16/8 format immediately.

YES, YELLOW-OX WILL BE GETTING HIS BALLS OUT AGAIN!

The competition will be managed in Tourplay, so the following will apply:

  • SPP gained during the Cup matches WILL stick, so team development is on!
  • Prize money gained in the Cup will also stick!
  • Resurrection mode is on! A team of appocatharies has been hired by the tournament organisers to patch up all players involved so there is no risk to your precious league players from playing in the cup.
  • MNGs are served during Cup games, so any players missing games will be able to return in the next league fixture.
  • Matches must be played to benefit from SPP and winnings.

Matches will be scheduled in a 4-week periods, so it shouldn’t interfere too much with the league season, and if you lose a match, you’re out.
