This week, we sit down with another bloody lovely chap, the one and only, Steve!
1) What’s your name and where do you come from?
My name is Steve Nash, I play under the name “ExSk8rSteve”. I’m been a local all my life and currently live in Staverton, just outside of Trowbridge.
2) Tell us a little about how you came to play Blood Bowl and your experience in with the game and wider hobby.
Just before lockdown I rekindled my interest in Warhammer and its continued since then. I’ve always been keen on Bloodbowl, especially being a fan of Rugby & the NFL (Go Giants!). I have discovered that I am not particularly good at BB or Nuffle just wants to laugh in my face, but I persevere. I have been playing BB since Dec ‘24 I do enjoying playing AoS Spearhead and dabble a little in MTG & Star Wars Unlimited.
3) What Blood Bowl achievement are you most proud of? I think the only thing I am proud of (so far) is that in my first tournament I didn’t finish last!

4) What’s your favourite team and why?
Still trying to find my happy medium, but I think I will have to say Dark Elves. Why? They dodge on 2’s, I see to have an inability to dodge of anything 3+.
5) Tell us about the team you’ve brought into Season III. Did you select it for purely competitive reasons, or were there other factors involved?
Norse, I just felt like a change. No other reason.
6) What was your thought process behind your roster selections, skills taken and how would you describe your playstyle with this team?
I seemed to enjoy some slight success with the Norse on BB3. So, tried to replicate that with a physical team. Some skills are largely random as SPP is pretty had to come by when playing so poorly. Play style……clueless!
7) What are your expectations for this season? Do you have any particular goals you’d like to achieve? Who are you backing to win each division this season?
No expectations, I just want to not finish with 0 points. That will prove to be very difficult with 4 players killed in my previous game. Div-1. Ronaldbeanio looks to be in pole position. Top of the table and a game in hand on the players below him. Div-2. Sylvanian Calamities is my outside shout. Unbeaten and a game in hand. Div – 3. Pies by Mrs. Go Dark Elves!!!
8) What’s one thing you’d change about blood bowl?
Dice rolls. 1’s are successes, skulls are opponents loses a player!! Seriously, I would be curious to see a tactical kick action.
9) What Pitch is your favourite (rules, artwork, whatever)?
I really like the Chaos Dwarf pitch, just looks great and you can make the squares out easier.
10) Outside of Blood Bowl tell us a little about your life and main passions?
I love visiting the cinema and going to gigs. My life otherwise is largely devoted to ensuring my Son gets from A to B for his Am Dram shows he is involved in.
11) Pirates or Ninjas?
Ninja!
12) What’s your favourite film?
My favourite film…The Empire Strikes Back. I have been a fan of Star Wars for as long as I remember…this film has everything.
