This week, we catch up with our very own master chef, Mark!
1) What’s your (real) name and where do you come from?
Hi gang. I’m peety (mark) I’m one of the staff in Forge Breakers. I was born in Bath, lived in Chippenham for most of my life and then moved to sunny old Swindon.
2) Tell us a little about how you came to play Blood Bowl, and your experience in with the game and wider hobby.
So I originally started playing BB2 in lockdown after my friend introduced me to it. Then, before BB3 came out, Tiki, introduced me to table top Blood Bowl. A handful of tournaments and Season 3 of Forge Breakers later, here I am. I’ve also played 40K since 7th Ed. Mainly Necrons and Blood Angels [Ed: good lad!]
3) What Blood Bowl achievement are you most proud of?
Being a part of the WC2024 Blood Bowl 3 World Cup….
…and most casualties caused in Forge Breakers Season 2.

4) Tell us about the team you’ve brought into Season III. Did you select it for purely competitive reasons, or were there other factors involved?
The only team I own is Dorf’s but I’m currently working on an Undead team. Also, I wanted to give the Dwarves 1 last run… and I love Troll Slayers.
5) What was your thought process behind your roster selections and the skills you took?
Pretty standard Guard and MB spam. I’m personally looking to try and get blodge on a runner.
6) How would you describe your playstyle with this team?
Bash bash bash. Guard EVERYWHERE to minimise blocks.
7) What are your expectations for this season? Do you have any particular goals you’d like to achieve?
This season I would like to end up with a neutral/ W-L ratio.
Play some new coaches I’ve not played before and meet some more our community.
8) Outside of Blood Bowl tell us a little about your life and main passions?
Outside of Blood Bowl, I’m currently a second chef.
I’m a fan of Magic The Gathering.
Video games – currently my favourite video game is Destiny 2 and I’ve around 7000 hours on it across ps4/and pc.
After some recent bad news, I’ve started trying to give back to people… so I’ve started to giving back to the community by helping with local food banks.
9) Pirates or Ninjas?
Pirates, because I do love me some rum.
Thanks Mark! Great to learn a bit more about you.
I call this “How to Kill a Wardancer”
