WTF is… the FB Cup?
Season II saw the inaugural running of the FB Cup, our knock-out competition which runs alongside the regular league season. It was a fab competition that saw Ryan (Nithilus) walk away with the, ahem, trophy.
Season III FB Cup details
Whilst the inaugural FB Cup proved the viability of a knock-out tournament alongside the regular league season, it was clear we have a great opportunity to improve Season IIIs FB Cup. This season, coaches will receive a participation reward & have special rules applied to each round! Oh, and we will get a proper trophy sorted.
Participation
This season all 32 league coaches are automatically included in the Round 1 draw!
Participation reward
Teams will be rewarded with a cash prize deposited directly into their team treasury. The amount will gradually increase through the competition as follows and will be awarded at the end of each round in which a team participated.

Team rosters
The FB Cup is a resurrection style competition. For FB Cup matches, each coach must use their league team roster ‘as is’ at the time of the match. MNGs do not come back for the match. Inducements, as per league rules, are allowed (details here). No injuries occurred during FB Cup matches persist, no SPPs are awarded or winnings provided. The only long-term impact from each game is the Participation reward detailed above.
Please note, for Prayers to Nuffle, roll a D8 (rather than D16) as per resurrection tournament practices.
Special rules
Each round will have a special rule applied. These will be revealed as part of the live stream in which the round draws occur. Think balls, pitches, weather tables… that kind of thing!
Match scheduling and results submissions
All FB Cup matches must be organised via the dedicated match scheduling channel:
Single matches must resolve a winner, so overtime and kicks should be played if needed. Once the winner has been determined, please submit your results in the dedicated FB Cup result submission channel:
Round 1 matches must be played by the end of league Round 4 on 29th April 2025. Full schedule of the round dates below. These correspond to league round end dates, full details found here.
